Chip’s Blog

Today we went walking all around Lagunal Niguel Regional Park. Jesse played soccer, and he was busy, so we explored. Unfortunately, we were not allowed to chase the geese and ducks that we saw from a distance, but we did get a chance to relax and watch some soccer. So much running around after a ball… and I’m not allowed to join in…

Then, in the afternoon we went to Chip’s house and met someone new! Clara is very small and very cute. I don’t think we are allowed to play with her yet, but I hope she likes to roll balls for us!

This Saturday, Mary had to leave early in the morning and was gone till the late afternoon. Jesse took care of us, and took us on a REALLY LONG walk. Long as in about 2 1/2 hours. We went around and through the neighborhoods around here, and Jesse told Mary we were angels! We saw 4 or 5 dogs on our walk, and they were all very badly behaved, lunging and barking on their leashes, with their owners pulling them across the street and away from us. We barely glanced at such behavior. We don’t like barking dogs *sniff*

After Mary got home, Lucy came over and we all played together! All in all, a very good Saturday.

Sometimes I like to taunt Chip with a bone. Sometimes I wave it in his face. Sometimes he pretends that he doesn’t care and just lies there with his mouth open as I wave the toy in his mouth.

Today we played tug of war and chase. It was fun.

Today we also went over to Chip’s house! We got to see Will outside, but even though I pulled my leash from Mary’s hands and went to the front door, we didn’t go inside so I couldn’t see Sunyee. Will gave Mary some sort of blanket that smelled of someone that I hadn’t met yet. I was curious and sniffed it, but Chip didn’t seem to care too much…
