I was minding my own business yesterday when suddenly around 11:42AM, the house began rattling and everything began to shake.  Mommy was in her room and I ran around the house in circles.  I didn’t know what to do!  I’m not the one making things sway back and forth in the house.

Then Mommy started calling my name and I walked really slowly over to her.  Mommy was standing in the doorway.  Then she grabbed my collar and made me sit next to her in the hallway.  So I sat and leaned against Mommy because I was so confused.

I kept on hearing the noise of things shaking in the house.  Then the room just swayed and rolled back and forth for several seconds.  When it was all over I still didn’t want to stand up.

Then Mommy stood up from the doorway I got up and circled around the room and whined.  I kept on whining to complain about what just happened.  Then Daddy called on the land-line phone 30 minutes later because all the cell phones were still not working.  When I heard Daddy’s voice I complained louder so he can hear about how scared I was.

For the rest of the afternoon I took long naps.  Then some time during the day I went into my old room with the nice new laminate and threw up.   I don’t know why, but I did.  I threw up twice in fact.  I was hoping no one would see it.  But Mommy found it around midnight because she followed me into the room.  I was trying to lick it up to hide the evidence but I was caught.  *sigh*

Now I’m sitting next to Mommy while some hammering is going on in her bathroom.  I heard she got some people to put in a new bathtub.  I’ll just stay close to Mommy until I know all is safe with the house again.

Life is good. Mommy and Daddy went to Las Vegas last weekend, which means I get to stay with Mary and Mika. Then Mommy and Daddy went to San Diego this weekend, which means I get to go back to Mary and Mika again! Yay me! I’m so lucky!

Although I gotta say that Mika is getting bossier and bossier each weekend. Mika won’t even let me sit on her sofa in peace, even if there’s no humans sitting on it. I just don’t get it. I don’t mind if Mika sits on my sofa.

Anyhow, I decided to call shot-gun in Mary’s car to show Mika that I can be boss too!

Chip moved himself into the passenger seat while Mary was away
