What a long weekend! Mika stayed over at my place starting on Thursday. Then we went to lots of places together. We even went to the dog park TWICE!

Chip enjoying life

I think I was very well behaved overall. Although Mommy said Mika acted better while she was at the dog park. I mean, is it really my fault I wanted to dominate this super passive husky? She was just begging for me to dominate her! I don’t understand why I got a time-out each time I tried?

Anyhow, Mommy wiped both Mika and I down after the dog park each time and I was MUCH cleaner than that Mika. Mommy had to use 5 wipes just to wipe Mika down. Mommy only had to use 2 wipes on me. So doesn’t that mean I was better behaved? I didn’t roll around in the dirt and go after filthy tennis balls like Mika.

Then today, there was this couple who brought food into the dog park. Was it really my fault that I tried to ask for food from them? The meat sandwiches smelled really delicious. I was the first in the dog park to sniff out their food in their plastic bag. Mika was interested too. But then Daddy said it was time to go. I followed Mommy and Daddy for most of the way, then I thought I’d give the food one last try and I ran ALL THE WAY back to the couple.

Last photo of Chip before he made a U-turn to run back INTO the dog park and begged for human food (This was the smile I gave Mommy before I made a U-Turn to ask for food)

I thought Mika was going to follow me, but she didn’t. Mommy kept on calling Mika and I can’t believe Mika listened! Mika went back to Mommy and never followed me! So much for my wing-man! I waited for the couple to give me food but I got none. So I decided to go back to Mommy but I couldn’t find her! I thought they left me! But I knew they would NEVER leave me. At least Mika would come back for me, right?

I roamed the dog park going to all the usual places Mommy was sitting, but she wasn’t there. I went to all these people with black hair and sniffed them thinking they were Mommy or Daddy. Then I just stood there in the middle of the dog park looking for Mommy, Daddy, or Mika.

Suddenly I heard someone shout my name and I ran and ran in that direction. When I got closer, I saw Mommy, Mika, and Daddy! I KNEW I could find them. It wasn’t that hard. And I wasn’t even worried at all!

When Mommy opened the door to take me on my morning walk, a huge box appeared in the door. I guess the UPS guy left it there. The box was so huge that Mommy got this idea of putting me in it! OMG!

Chip is ready to be mailed off!Chip likes the box!

I don’t know how Mommy gets such crazy ideas. But Daddy put me into the box and it was actually quite comfortable. I was surprised.

Then later on, Mommy started reading the book called The Dangerous Book for Dogs by Rex and Sparky (who also happened to be Myspace friends of mine.) Mommy was laughing the whole time she was reading it. Of course, it would be too dangerous if I ever got a hold of the book. So she tried to hide it from me. But I found it anyway! Muhahaha!

Chip found the Dangerous Book for Dogs!

I also talked about this book in my Toys & Products page. Mommy and I spent quite a bit of time this summer working on my website. So please check it out if you have a chance! ^_^
